Miriam Redito Quiambao captivated millions around the world after having won the first runner-up title at the Miss Universe Pageant in 1999 held in Trinidad and Tobago.

Celebrity.

Since then, Miriam has steadily stayed in the limelight. She has graced the cover of just about every magazine and entertained us as she started her TV career as an anchor host for the GMA7’s morning show Unang Hirit and later on in the afternoon daily primetime show Extra-Extra with Paolo Bediones.

Award Winning TV Host/ Events Emcee.

Her TV career catapulted to greater heights when she and her co-host Paolo Bediones pioneered the first ever reality show Extra-Challenge in the Philippines. Miriam has since been a staple in the hosting arena and entertained us in shows such as the women’s lifestyle show All About You, Palaban, 100% Pinoy, The Beat, Pinoy Meets World and Philippine Realty TV. From the start of her career, she has received several awards to her name such as Best New Female Celebrity 1999, Best Morning Show Host in 2000, Best Travel Show Host 2007, Best Female host in the Aliw Awards in 2008 and 2010. She is currently one of the anchor hosts at The 700 Club Asia, a daily Christian inspirational news magazine show on GMA Network.

Actress.

She even forayed into acting thru roles in a number of sitcoms and TV drama series such as Idol Ko Si Kap, Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, Bangis, Second Chances and The Jose & Wally Show; supporting roles in movies include Walang Kapalit, Kimmy Dora 1 & 2. In 2010, she was nominated as Best Supporting Actress for her role as Gertrude in Kimmy Dora 1.

She has also been chosen as a celebrity endorser for top consumer brands like Cream Silk, Lactacyd, Mister Donut, Lip-Out and Olay Total Effects.

Inspirational Speaker.

With her refreshing presence on and off screen, she continues to reach out and touch base with the Filipino public. Miriam is carving a niche as a much sought after public speaker because of her ability to engage her audience and captivate them with her inspiring stories. She is a gifted story teller who moves her audiences from both corporate, socio-civic, and faith based organizations to cry, smile, laugh and think with her. She offers her image and personality development training in the corporate arena and has worked with Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. (the organizers of the Miss Philippines pagent) to speak before beauty pageant candidates to impart some of her training and experience in the global pageant stage. She is invited frequently as a judge for beauty pageants not just in the Philippines but abroad as well.

Her first book entitled: HE CAN CATCH YOU WHEN YOU FALL, The Continuing Life Story of MIRIAM QUIAMBAO, in an inspiring story of overcoming challenges made it to the National Bookstore Bestseller list and continues to be CSM Publishing’s No. 1 Bestseller since 2015.

Advocate.

In spite of her success, she never fails to contribute to her community. She has been a very active celebrity endorser for Worldvision Development Foundation since 2001 and has served as a Celebrity Advocate Against Child Labor from 2006-2008. She is currently one of the hosts of Christian news magazine TV program, The 700 Club Asia, which airs weeknights on GMA Network.

Wife & Mother.

She is a loving wife to best-selling author, inspirational speaker and award-winning entrepreneur Ardy Roberto. Together, they are loving and caring parents to their two boys.
